Teaching Personnel partner with many Secondary Schools based in Kirklees which are looking to appoint Teaching Assistants and Administrators to join their Interventions team. As a Teaching Assistant, you will be afforded the opportunity to grow and develop throughout the academic year mastering the teaching assistant role and building the knowledge and skills that will set you up for success with your future teacher training.


As Teaching Assistant you will be tasked with supporting the class teacher and providing high levels of academic tuition to small groups of students of varying abilities both in and out of the class. You will gain experience supporting special educational needs and after mastering the teaching assistant role you will build your responsibilities up to helping with planning and delivering short lessons.

As a Teaching Assistant you will be working in-

* Intervention Group Work / Class Support / One to One Support
* Be Supportive and work with experienced Class Teachers
* Have excellent leadership, training & development
* Preparing for teaching as a secondary Teaching Assistant

School experience is not essential but some experience supporting children will hold you in good stead.
