Teaching Assistant with Psychology / Counselling background required for vibrant and inclusive primary school in Seven Sisters, Haringey

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Special Needs Assistant, preferably with a qualification in counselling or someone who has a psychology degree. The role is to support a child in Key Stage Two who is very disengaged and has emotional/ social barriers to learning. The child is intelligent but opposed to any work and requires one to one support from someone who is nurturing but has clear expectations.

This role is to start immediately in the summer term and the role will continue into the next academic year providing both the school and TA are happy. The school will be interviewing during the first week of the summer term and are shortlisting now!

Seven Sisters is easily accessible on the Victoria Line, Overground and by bus.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
