Teaching Assistant Wimbledon

I am working with a 'Good' school based in Wimbledon who are looking for a full time Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2019. This is a full time and long term position.

The school are looking to appoint an enthusiastic teaching assistant to support the class teacher in the schools Year 2 class. You will be working alongside the class teacher to provide a high standard of support and will need to be able to plan, deliver and monitor work to meet the needs of each child, you'll be working 1:1, taking small groups and whole class activities. Along with working alongside the class teacher you'll be liaising with the school Leadership Team to ensure standards are met.

To be considered you must hit the following criteria:

• A variety of communication skills to respond to the needs of the children.
• You must have at least 1 years experience in a school setting.
• Empathy and understanding of children's individual learning abilities.
• Patience and a good sense of humour.
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of the curriculum.
• Willing to go the extra mile.
