Full time graduate Teaching Assistants required for a Wallasey, Wirral based Secondary school, for a temporary gap within the support department, initially until the end of the year (July) with the potential to progress until the end of the new academic year.

  • Pay: £9.50p/h.

The incoming Graduate Teaching Assistants can expect to join a growing Secondary school, based in Wallasey, Wirral. This role will create a strong foundation for any aspiring teacher to develop their understanding of the Education Sector.

The Graduate Teaching Assistant role will include:

  • Working with young pupils 1:1, intervention based and general classroom support.
  • Delivering pre-planned lessons with full support in subject specialist areas.
  • Support the teaching and learning of young people alongside the class teacher.
  • Developing strong behaviour management skills, in accordance to school behaviour policies.
  • Supporting pupils during the transition period for incoming year seven students and year 11 pupils in preparation for the GCSE Exams.
