Teaching Assistant - Wakefield

Teaching Personnel are looking for a flexible candidate that is willing to support school staff and pupils with supply work - both short term and long term. A desirable candidate will have a full driving license and their own transport or be willing to travel up to an hour on public transport.

The school is based in the centre of Wakefeld and has two sites - an SEN site and site for students with SEMH issues. You will assist other staff in creating and implementing risk assessment and you will identify and address the needs of pupils that require additional support. You will be working with students with a range of complex needs such as Autism, ADHD, visual impairments and physical disabilities so resilience in what could be quite a challenging role is required.

If you have experience or training in PECs, Makaton, Team Teach, SEN or Autism then you will be the ideal candidate for this role.
