Teaching Assistant- Stockport

Teaching Assistants required for a local primary school based in the heart of Stockport, SK1 for an immediate start.

The "Good" rated Ofsted local primary school in the heart of Stockport, SK1 is looking for a teaching assistant to work along side a year 3 pupil with moderate severe learning difficulties and autistic spectrum disorder and associated problems such as speech & language and other emotional and behavioural difficulties.

Would you welcome the challenge of working with learners in both group and individual situations, helping and encouraging the year 3 pupil to develop their self-help and learning skills?

You will need to be enthusiastic, committed & flexible, as well as having the ability to maintain calm, positive direction when under pressure. You will be the type of person who enjoys a challenge and seeks job satisfaction.

Hours of work: 8.40am - 3.30pm Monday to Friday and (36 hours/week) during term time only (plus In-Service training days).

Own transport is desirable however the school is easily accessible using public transport.
