Contract Type: Part-Time / Flexible Working Days
Pay Rate: £13.75 – £14.50 per hour (depending on experience)

 

A friendly and inclusive primary school in Speke (L24) is looking for a motivated and caring Teaching Assistant to join their team on a flexible, part-time basis starting in October 2025. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is either new to working in education or looking to gain more classroom experience in a supportive and welcoming school environment.

This role offers flexible working days to suit your schedule and is perfect for those looking to make a positive impact on children’s learning and development while balancing other commitments.

 

About the Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support learning activities in the classroom. Your role will include:

  • Assisting with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
  • Supporting small groups or individual pupils, including those with additional needs
  • Encouraging pupils' social and emotional development
  • Promoting a positive learning environment
  • Supporting with basic administrative tasks such as photocopying and organising resources

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
