Teaching Assistant - Social, Emotional & Mental Health

The Head Teacher of a Specialist Independent School in Penarth are currently looking for a number of support assistants to join their team on a temporary basis initially with the potential to become permanent for the right person. This specialist school support children and young people from 7-16+ who display some behaviours that challenge and other additional learning needs.

Teaching Personnel have a direct partnership with this school and we now provide the majority of the staff here on a permanent basis. Worried you do not have specific experience in supporting challenging behaviour? Please do not let this put you off - the Head has specifically said they are looking for the right fit personality over any paper qualifications.

• Are you able to use your initiative and work well within a team?
• Do you have an interest in supporting challenging behaviour or additional learning needs?
