Job description

We’re looking for a Teaching Assistant to join a specialist Post-16 setting in New Malden. The role is hands-on, rewarding, and focused on supporting young people as they prepare for adulthood, further study, or employment.

The role:

  • Support learners aged 16+ with their studies and personal development

  • Help build independence, confidence, and practical skills

  • Work closely with teachers and staff to adapt learning to individual needs

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience working with young people or adults is helpful, but not essential

  • A patient, adaptable approach and willingness to get stuck in

  • A valid Child & Adult Workforce DBS (or willingness to apply – we can help with this)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
