SEN Teaching Assistant
Job description
You’ll be working 1:1 with pupils in a dedicated SEN provision within the school.
The children have high-functioning autism and thrive with clear routines, visual supports, and calm, patient interactions.
- Support pupils’ learning and emotional wellbeing throughout the school day
- Use strategies to help reduce anxiety and make transitions smoother
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to review progress
- Build strong, positive relationships with parents and carers through regular communication and updates

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
