A primary school in the Vale of Glamorgan are seeking committed and compassionate Teaching Assistants to provide vital classroom support across Foundation Phase and Key Stage 2. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils' academic, social, and emotional development, working alongside experienced teachers and inclusion teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support teachers in delivering high-quality, engaging lessons.

• Assist with the preparation of resources and classroom organisation.

• Work 1:1 or in small groups with children who need additional support.

• Encourage positive behaviour and emotional well-being.

• Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Experience working with children in a school, nursery, care or youth setting.

• A positive, proactive attitude and the ability to adapt to different classroom needs.

• Strong communication skills and a commitment to teamwork.

• An interest in education, child development, or inclusion.

• An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

• A relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) is desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
