Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant – Poole, Bournemouth & Christchurch (Full-Time/Part-Time)

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? Teaching Personnel is looking for dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to work across a range of welcoming schools in the Poole, Bournemouth, and Christchurch areas.

The Role:

  • Provide targeted support to pupils with a range of SEN needs, including Autism, ADHD, speech & language difficulties, and SEMH.

  • Assist class teachers in adapting resources and learning materials to individual needs.

  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

  • Offer 1:1 and small group interventions.

  • Support with behaviour management and social development.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN is beneficial, but not essential.

  • Calm, patient, and empathetic nature.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Passion for supporting children’s learning and well-being.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
