Teaching Assistant required in Nelson

Teaching Personnel work closely with a School based in the Nelson area which caters for pupils with SEN, including; Downs Syndrome, Autism, PMLD, Physical Disabilities and ADHD. The School is Ofsted graded Outstanding and it is larger than average for a special needs School. The School caters for pupils who are KS3/4 and 5 and the pupils may sometimes display challenging behaviours.

The School are looking for a candidate to start within the next two weeks and the role will be full time, however, initially the role may be part time/ad hoc work so the candidate needs to be flexible. The staff in School are very supportive and welcoming to new staff and the pupils in School are very hard working.

The candidate MUST have experience supporting pupils with SEN and the candidate must also be willing to provide personal care for pupils when required. The successful candidate will benefit from:

* negotiable pay rates between £51-58 per day
