Are you a qualified Teaching Assistant who is currently looking for a new challenge? We may have the ideal role for you!

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Teaching Assistant to work within the support department of one of our client schools in the Durham area. This role is to work exclusively with 16+ learners in the sixth form.

The Role:

  • Full-time Teaching Assistant position
  • Providing general academic support to learners who request it
  • Supporting learners with SEND needs to progress their learning
  • To start from September, guaranteed until the end of the academic year
  • Supporting pupils across Key Stage 5 onwards, including pupils resitting qualifications
  • Earn up to GBP400 per week, depending on the roles and responsibilities involved

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified Teaching Assistant
  • Preferably has experience of dealing with post-16/Key Stage 5 learners
  • Experience supporting SEN learner 

To be considered for this role, it is important that you have some form of experience supporting children and young people previously. Any direct experience within a school setting is desirable, however not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
