Teaching Assistant

Job description

We are currently looking for Teaching Assistants in Derby (and surrounding areas), who are looking for supply roles on a full time basis.

You will be working on a day to day basis at schools who provide education for students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties, Autism and Complex Learning Difficulties, where students require emotional, pastoral and academic support. Your roles in a day could be varied from general support within the classroom, to keyworking complex SEN students on a 1:1 basis.

In most cases the primary identified need is Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH), although the majority of students have additional special educational needs such as autistic spectrum condition (ASc), ADHD, speech, language and communication difficulties, opposition defiance and attachment disorders.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
