Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a secondary school that is part of a large academic trust in Wigan who are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant on a full time basis with an immediate start.

Due to a higher pupil intake this academic year, the secondary school in Wigan seek to appoint a Teaching Assistant who is able to support pupils with their learning and helping to improve the outcomes for identified students within the school.

The role may require you to support the learning of pupils with SEN requirements, so previous experience working with young people with SEN would be desirable.

Your role as a Teaching Assistant will require you to support the class teacher with a range of KS3 & KS4 subjects and supporting identified pupils in smaller groups and on a 1:1 basis when necessary. The successful candidate will have strong classroom and behavioural control to ensure minimal disruption and effective learning takes place.

Key aspects of the Teaching Assistant include:

• Full time Teaching Assistant position with immediate start in Wigan.
• Earn up to GBP1200 per month, dependant on experience.
