With an increased demand for support staff now schools have reopened our client school need a supportive Teaching Assistant to work alongside the main class teacher. The school is located in in Rochdale and has an outstanding reputation in the community and with parents. Pupils in the school as provided with ‘Outstanding;’ education Ofsted reported on their recent inspection. Pupils of all abilities and backgrounds make the expected progress and exceed challenging targets in almost all subjects at the end of Key Stage 4.

Duties will include:

•            Supporting the main class teacher

•            Providing support 1-1 to pupils

•            Managing classroom behaviour

•            Ensuring pupils are engaged throughout the lesson

Highlights of the role:

•            Full-time

•            September 2021 start

•            Earn up to GBP350 per week

•            Monday-Friday 8:30am-3:30pm

The successful candidate will have previous experience working with young people and preferably within a school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
