Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are looking to register Teaching Assistants who are available this term or after Christmas.

Teaching Personnel work with a variety of SEN schools across Nottinghamshire, from central Nottingham city, Clifton, Aspley, Arnold, Cotgrave, Sutton-in-Ashfield, Mansfield and Shirebrook. The schools support students who present with ASC, ADHD, MLD, SLD, Physical Disabilities, Visual Impairments, Hearing Impairments, PDA, Anxiety, Attachment Disorder. SEMH and Challenging Behaviour.

We are interested in registering Candidates with the following SEN experience:

• Have worked in a SEN School, PRU or residential settings previously
• Has supported students one-to-one or in small groups
• Hold a education/care basis qualification
• Additional training and CPD courses is ideal
• Excellent behaviour management, creative and nurturing demeanour

Extra details:

• Available 8:3am0 to 3:30pm
• Pay GBP10 per hour ( approx GBP65 per day)
• Ideally available full time ( 5 days a week) however will consider part time
• Need a Child workforce DBS on the update service - or happy to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
