Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are proud to be appointing several engaging Teaching Assistant's and Support Staff at an established school in Central Peterborough.

The successful Teaching Assistant will be responsible for providing ongoing support to students at our welcoming partner school. They will support with the preparation and delivery of lessons as well as leading specific smaller group or 1:1 interventions as and when required. Behaviour management will be a huge part of your role and ideally you will have had previous or current Team Teach/De-Escalation training. 

We are looking for an individual who:

• Is motivated to inspire and encourage children and young people.
• Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Can deliver specific interventions as and when required – a passion for Maths, Science or English is advantageous but not essential.
• Is confident in managing the behaviour of pupils aged 5-16 years.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
