To apply for this role, you must have some experience of working in a school environment whether that is in primary, secondary or SEN schools on a voluntary or paid basis. I am currently recruiting for an experienced Teaching Assistant in Ely and the surrounding areas to work on a long-term basis in a mainstream primary school. You should expect to work with pupils between the ages of 5-11 years, with a mixture of academic levels and additional needs (Autism, ADHD, and Dyslexia).

Initially you will work on a temporary, long-term basis. However, you will have the opportunity to gain a permanent contract with the school.

Read on, to learn more about working through Teaching Personnel…

Supporting the learning and development of the pupil will be your main duty alongside assisting the class teacher with preparation of resources as and when required. We require passionate and caring individuals who have personal or professional experience of working with children.

A working day generally starts on or after 8.30am and ends at 3.30pm. Many of our schools do offer additional training, which means if you are working long-term, some days you may be required to stay later than 3.30pm.

Our consultants are dedicated to finding you your ideal role and regularly keep in contact, to update you on positions and just for a general catch up to see how you’re getting on. See the benefits of working through Teaching Personnel below:

  • Great rates of pay, which is regularly reviewed.
  • Job Satisfaction and good work-life balance.
  • Full access to high-quality CPD training – Safeguarding, Autism Awareness, BSL Training and more!
  • Specialist trained and dedicated consultants – supporting you in finding your ideal role.
  • Short-term and long-term roles, to suit your lifestyle and other commitments.
  • Access to a wide range of Primary, Secondary and SEN schools within your area – giving you the opportunity to gain as much or as little experience in schools.

Apply now or call and speak to our Candidate Consultant about current work that is local to you.

We can’t wait to hear from you!
