Intervention Teaching Assistant 

Do you have experience with Phonics?

Are you an experienced Intervention Teaching Assistant looking for a new challenge in the Beccles area?

Teaching Personnel are delighted to announce that we are recruiting for a Phonics trained intervention Teaching Assistant to join a team of friendly and supportive staff and play a key role in a busy Primary school in Beccles, this role would be starting in September and has the potential to turn into a full time role.

You would be required to lead intervention groups and support pupils across KS1 aiding them to gain a better understanding of the alphabet and improve their literacy ability.

The ideal candidate for the role:

  • Experienced Teaching Assistant
  • Trained in the use of Phonics (either Jolly Phonics or Read Write Inc.)
  • Safeguarding training
  • A good understanding of the UK curriculum
  • Good class management skills
  • An enthusiastic attitude to all aspects of work

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
