We are pleased to announce that a full time, SEN support position has just become available in an OFSTED rated ‘Good’ Primary school located in Wisbech and is due to start in the first week back after May Half-term. The school are looking for applicants with diverse experience supporting individuals with SEN, as the role is to support a pupil with challenging behaviour and SEMH – therefore prior experience is essential for this position.
The role itself is expected to last until the end of the academic year with the possibility of being extended further depending on the pupil’s progression.
Ideal applicants are those with:
- Extensive experience supporting those with SEN/SEMH
- Safeguarding Training
- A drive to help others
- Experience working within a school environment supporting KS1/KS2 pupils
- Teaching Assistant Experience – Primary/Secondary
In your role you will be expected to actively contribute in class activities, as well as provide 1:1 support to the pupil and engage them in overall classroom activities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
