Graduate Teaching Assistant KS3-4

Are you a recent graduate seeking a teaching assistant role to build up your experience ahead of pursuing a PGCE or teacher training in September 2021?

 

The position: KS3 and KS4 graduate teaching assistant, full-time position

Salary: Earn GBP60-65 per day

 

Teaching Personnel are currently working alongside a large secondary school in the Kingswood area of Bristol who are looking to recruit ambitious and hard-working graduates as teaching assistants and aspiring teachers. This role is full-time and provides the opportunity to gain experience and training.

The ideal candidate:

Will –

  • Be able to commit to a long-term role
  • Have a respectful and professional manner towards pupils and staff within the school
  • Be enthusiastic and have a passion for education
  • Can work alongside a classroom teacher and with other members of the support team
  • Have an excellent understanding of the classroom and have high expectations of work and behaviour

Must –

  • Have the appropriate qualifications
  • Have experience working with KS3 and KS4 children
  • The right to work within the UK
  • The ability to provide two references from your most recent employers
  • All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid child workforce Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
