Teaching Assistant

URGENT TEACHING ASSISTANT NEEDED.

Teaching Personnel are looking for a teaching assistant to join our team as soon as possible!

I am looking to recruit a dedicated and professional individual who is willing and able to work across the primary phases.

 You need to be enthusiastic, flexible and creative with the ability to cover short term teacher absences working with KS1 & 2 pupils.

You must have the confidence to supervise a class and manage the behaviour of children. In addition, you will also be required to provide classroom support for teachers and small group interventions, and general duties.

Good ICT skills are essential. You will work alongside the class teachers to support children in all areas of the curriculum.

Relevant experience of working with children and qualifications are desirable (e.g. NVQ level 2 or equivalent or higher, Maths and English at Grade C or above).

We are looking for someone who is:
- Able to build good relationships with children and colleagues;
- Able to work as part of a team;
- Flexible, adaptable and willing to take initiative;
- Enthusiastic and has a can do attitude;
- An excellent communicator.
