Teaching Personnel are working closely with schools in the Twickenham area and are currently looking to recruit Teaching Assistants to work on a day to day supply basis. To be considered for this role, it is essential that you either have a relevant qualification to support children or a minimum of three months TA experience within a school setting. Qualifications that will be considered are:

  • Supporting Teaching and Learning
  • Health and Social Care
  • Childcare
  • Teaching Assistant Level 2/3

We require motivated and enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about education and would like a chance to progress within a role. Although flexible hours can be offered you will be required to work a minimum of three days per week and your working hours will be 08:30 – 15:30.

As a TA you will be supporting the children in their day to day work as well as assisting the class Teacher with the work they set. You may be required to help with break and lunch duties and support students on a 1:1 basis if they require it. You must be engaging with the pupils and ensure you are supporting both their academic and personal needs. The ability to build and maintain a strong relationship with both the staff and children is necessary.

You will automatically be enrolled into our pension scheme as well as being offered a competitive pay rate. We can offer you the chance to be assisted with your application by a dedicated consultant who will then work on your behalf to find you the work you prefer and offer you professional CV writing. There is the chance to receive a referral bonus for any Teacher/Teaching Assistants that you refer to work with us and be paid on a weekly basis.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
