Do you have a passion for supporting pupils with additional needs?
I am currently looking for a strong Teaching Assistant in Barton to work with pupils with Autism (ASC). Experience with Autism would certainly be beneficial but it is not essential however, having excellent behaviour management is.
This is a fantastic opportunity for Psychology Graduates!
Job Specification
* ASC Specialist Teaching Assistant
* Emotional and behavioural support to specified children with ASC
* Working with Teachers and the SENCO to ensure progress and development
* Full time hours, 5 days a week (8:45am - 3pm)
* Long term to permanent position
* Paid Weekly
Candidate Specification
* Psychology or Education related Degree
* Strong academics in A Levels and GCSEs
* Calm, understanding and friendly personality
* Passion, commitment and dependability within the workplace and using your own initiative!
* Experience within UK education or child psychology setting is essential!
* Clear understanding of the Autistic Spectrum
* Perfect for aspiring Psychologists or SEN Teachers!
