Our small School provides day education for boys with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. Pupils' needs are met in a small, nurturing environment with a highly differentiated curriculum and exceptional pupil-staff relationships.

We are currently recruiting for a teaching assistant to work at our school on a full time basis in September.

Every aspect of their needs is considered by our staff team and any outside professionals involved in their care and education. Every pupil is cared for and cherished until, and often beyond, their very last day on our roll, wherever they are. Pupils and their families frequently return to the school to share news of their achievements and experiences in later life.​

Responsibilities include:

We support the long-term personal and academic achievements of our pupils which builds self-esteem and gives them the confidence to face new challenges. All of this is underpinned by outstanding, state-of-the-art facilities. You will also be involved in:

• Supporting the pastoral needs of students
• Encouraging students to have positive attendance levels and engage in school life
• Building upon experiences of pupils and helping them achieve positive outcomes
• Supporting pupils to access education and make choices about the qualifications they may wish to work towards

Experience / Skills Required:

You will be passionate about supporting young people to achieve great things. If you have a qualification in a childcare related subject this would be advantageous. Previous school or childcare experience would be desirable.
