Job description

Teaching Personnel’s SEN Teaching Assistants work closely with pupils with learning difficulties such as Autism and complex learning needs.

SEN Teaching Assistants support and challenge students and allow them to achieve their full potential by working alongside key school staff.

Your role would involve undertaking structured, personalised learning programmes, both on a 1-2-1 basis and a small group basis, taking into consideration individual pastoral support to pupils.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant you would be required to work with pupils with an EHCP with personalised targets to support their learning. You would be required to support the pupils in the classroom that have various conditions that are secondary school age. This specialist school is Ofsted graded “Good” that prides itself on ensuring opportunities to develop and grow are available and builds relationships to meet the diverse needs of the whole school community.
