Teaching Assistant

The Head Teacher of a secondary school in the Lincoln area is seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant from April 2020. This role is intially a tempoary contract until July 2020 with the potential of permenant contract offer from September 2020.

The Role

The successful Teaching Assistant will be working with young people in an educational setting. Responsiblities will include working with children in whole class, small group and 1-1 settings. The Teaching Assistant will liaise with class teachers to provide the best level of support for pupils in care. Pupil safegaurding, well being and contributing to progress across core subjects will of upmost importance. 

The Candidate

To be succesful in applying for this post, you will ideally have experience of working with young people in an educational setting. Experience of working with pupils with Special Educational Needs would also be an advantage. I would also be particuarly interested in applications from graduates that are looking to begin a career in education, partuicuralary those with degrees in Maths, English & Science.
