The School is an oversubscribed, outstanding school serving Chichester and the surrounding areas. The school are ambitious by nature and have high expectations for all. The school are now looking to appoint two further Teaching Assistants to join their team:
The team of Teaching Assistants (TAs) are highly committed in establishing excellent relationships with their students. They inspire confidence and encourage a feeling of security which enables students to improve their learning.
TAs work with students who have Education Health and Care plans and also support students across classes, as identified by teaching staff. Students may have learning, physical, sensory, behavioural or communication difficulties, and be from a range of year groups from years 7 to 11.
If you think you are a suitable TA with outstanding qualities, please apply for the role. Desired (although not essential) qualities include:
- Educated to GCSE level in a relevant subject
- Prior experience supporting young people with Special Educational Needs
- Have knowledge of EHPs
- Have a genuine interest in education and supporting the lives of young people
- Have some knowledge of safeguarding children
