Job description

Role: Teaching Assistant 

Pay: £83-£90 per day

Location: Angmering, West Sussex

We are seeking a friendly, professional Teaching Assistant to provide learning support on a full-time basis within one of our partner Primary schools based in Angmering.

This role is a great opportunity for a graduate, experienced teaching assistant, care or youth worker looking for more experience in supporting students. Any cover supervisors or graduates with any relevant or related work experience are encouraged to apply for immediate consideration.

To be considered for the position of teaching assistant with Teaching Personnel, you will:

  • Hold a minimum of 5 GCSE pass grades.
  • Be passionate about teaching and supporting children
  • Be patient, caring and engaging
  • Be enthusiastic about education
  • Be supportive and helpful towards pupils and staff
  • Hold a Child DBS on the update service (Teaching Personnel can help with this) 

Duties will include:

  • Providing 1-2-1 and small group support where required.
  • Boosting self-confidence and self-esteem
  • Being a positive role model for students
  • Supporting inside and outside the classroom
  • Safeguarding pupils and protecting their well-being

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
