Work type:Term time only, Monday-Friday 8:30-3:30

Pay: £77-£85 per day

Teaching Personnel work alongside multiple Primary Schools in the Worthing and neighbouring areas. Schools are seeking Learning Support Assistants to support their teams and pupils. In this role, you will be providing support for the class Teacher with classroom activities, you will also be required to work alongside pupils who require additional support. The support you provide for the pupils will be based within the classroom, as well as providing 1:1 support outside of the classroom where required. We are seeking dedicated and motivated individuals, so if you have experience as a Learning support Assistant or experience in the care sector, we would love to hear from you!

Candidate requirements 

  • Experience working with young people
  • Understanding of how children learn 
  • Confident in behaviour management 
  • DBS on the update service (or willing to complete a new one)
  • SEN experience 
  • Minimum 5 GCSE pass grades
  • Be a resilient and motivated individual 
  • Have the ability to build rapport with team members and children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
