Afternoon Teaching Assistant – Wimborne
Part-Time | Monday to Friday Afternoons | Fixed-Term (1 Academic Year)

Teaching Personnel is currently supporting a friendly and inclusive primary school in Wimborne in their search for a Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025. This role is part-time, working afternoons Monday to Friday, and will run for the full 2025–2026 academic year.
About the role:
- Supporting pupils in KS1 and KS2 during afternoon learning sessions
- Assisting with small-group work, interventions, and end-of-day routines
- Helping to create a calm and positive learning environment
- Working alongside the class teacher to ensure every child is supported
Who we’re looking for:
- Someone with experience working with children in a school or childcare setting
- A positive, flexible individual who enjoys supporting pupils' progress
- A team player with good communication and behaviour management skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
