Pay: £13.75 – £14.50 per hour (PAYE)
About the Role
Are you a flexible, enthusiastic Teaching Assistant looking for work that fits around your lifestyle? We’re currently recruiting ad-hoc and day-to-day TAs to support a variety of welcoming schools across Weymouth.
This is the perfect opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and wants to gain experience across different year groups and school settings — without the commitment of a long-term role. Whether you’re available a few days a week or full-time, we’d love to hear from you.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Providing classroom support to teachers across a range of subjects and key stages
- Supporting pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis
- Helping create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Assisting pupils with additional or special educational needs (SEN)
- Stepping in to cover absences or short-term support needs — no two days are the same!
What We’re Looking For
- Enthusiastic, adaptable, and confident individuals
- A passion for working with children and helping them achieve their best
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new school environments
- Previous classroom or childcare experience (desirable but not essential)
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
