Teaching Assistant – Primary & Secondary Schools, Weymouth
Location: Weymouth & surrounding Dorset area
Pay: £89 – £95 per day
Hours: Full-time and part-time available, term time only
We are seeking enthusiastic and supportive Teaching Assistants to work across schools in the Weymouth area. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience, support pupils in their learning, and make a real impact in local schools.
Your role will include:
- Supporting pupils in class, both individually and in small groups
- Assisting teachers with engaging and creative lessons
- Encouraging positive behaviour and active participation
- Helping students develop confidence, independence, and essential life skills

✔ Experience in education, childcare, youth work, or support roles (desirable but not essential)
✔ A patient, caring, and proactive approach to supporting young people

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
