Teaching Assistant – Waterlooville

Are you enthusiastic about supporting children’s learning and development? We are looking for a motivated and caring Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Waterlooville.

The Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting teachers and helping pupils achieve their full potential. You’ll work with individuals and small groups, providing guidance, encouragement, and tailored support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students in the classroom to enhance their learning
• Work one-to-one or with small groups of pupils
• Assist with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
• Promote positive behaviour and engagement
• Support pupils with additional needs, including SEN where appropriate

What We’re Looking For:

• A patient, positive, and proactive approach
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential)
• A willingness to support pupils with a range of abilities and needs
• Relevant Teaching Assistant qualifications (Level 2/3 preferred)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
