Teaching Assistant
Job description
We are seeking Graduates to work at a warm and welcoming Primary School in the Twickenham area.
Graduates of Criminology, Psychology and Childcare based courses/degrees are very desirable for this role.
Equally graduates with a strong desire to work with children with SEN will be considered for this role.
This a full time role Monday - Friday with the hours of 08:30 - 15:30 each day. This role is school term time only.
The school are seeking someone who is able to start ASAP and commit until the end of July.
There will be opportunities for permanent contracts.
The role will include supporting 2 children with ASD (Autism)
The school are very forward thinking and are adapting a new approach which means that while you are a dedicated 1-1 support you will also work generally within the classroom.
New research is showing that it can be beneficial for children with SEN to work with a small team rather than with the same 1-1 support all day.
So this means that there will be ample opportunity for you to learn, train and gain experience on the job.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
