Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a HLTA to join a thriving Primary school in the Trumpington area of Cambridge, this would be a full time role with an immediate start.

You will be working across the KS1/KS2 age range and running small group sessions with pupils who are extremely gifted and talented and therefore would benefit from some extra learning to aid them reach their full cognitive potential. When not working within the groups you may be required to work with other pupils who may require support such as pupils with SEN or pupils who display challenging behaviour. 

The ideal candidate:

• HLTA qualification
• Strong class management skills
• Strong understanding of the Uk curriculum
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Experience working with small groups of pupils or working with pupils on a 1:1 basis
• Uk address and right to work
• Safeguarding qualifications
• Enhanced childs DBS on the update service
• SEN experience
