Teaching Personnel is seeking knowledgeable and dependable Teaching Assistants to support a number of SEN and SEMH provisions throughout the Templecombe area.

These part-time supply opportunities are expected to commence in September 2026, with the possibility of earlier starts depending on school requirements.

The Opportunity

We partner with several specialist settings that regularly require experienced staff to cover absences, increased pupil demand and short-term staffing needs. This role offers excellent flexibility and the chance to work across a variety of educational environments.

• Assisting learners with diverse additional needs.
• Supporting classroom activities and structured interventions.
• Helping pupils regulate emotions and remain engaged.
• Encouraging positive interactions and social development.
• Contributing to a safe and inclusive learning environment.
• Working collaboratively with teaching and pastoral teams.
• Maintaining accurate observations where required.

Candidate Profile

We are specifically seeking applicants with previous experience within SEN, SEMH, alternative provision or specialist support roles.

Due to the nature of supply work, successful candidates must be confident entering new settings and making an immediate positive impact.
