Teaching Personnel is seeking experienced Learning Support Assistants to provide ad-hoc cover across a number of specialist SEN and SEMH provisions in and around Yeovil.

This opportunity is ideal for individuals who enjoy the variety that supply work offers and are confident stepping into established educational environments at short notice.

Due to the nature of the role, we are particularly interested in candidates who already have experience supporting children and young people with additional needs and can quickly adapt to different settings.

• Promoting emotional regulation and positive behaviour
• Supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD, Speech and Language needs and other additional learning requirements
• Helping create a safe, nurturing and productive learning environment
• Assisting teaching staff with classroom preparation and organisation
• Building positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and families

Every day is different, making this a rewarding position for those who enjoy working in dynamic environments.

Who Are We Looking For?

• Have previous SEN, SEMH, education, care or youth work experience
• Can confidently enter a classroom and contribute immediately
• Demonstrate resilience, patience and professionalism
• Are comfortable working across different specialist provisions
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Are seeking flexible employment that fits around other commitments

Why Work Through Teaching Personnel?

• Competitive hourly pay of £14.25
• Weekly PAYE payments
• Flexible working arrangements
• Access to free safeguarding and compliance training
• Continuous professional development opportunities
• A dedicated consultant supporting you throughout your placement
• Pension contributions
