Teaching Assistant – Primary Schools – Sutton Coldfield (B74)

Teaching Personnel is proud to be working in partnership with several welcoming and supportive primary schools in Sutton Coldfield (B74) , and we are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join their teams.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting the class teacher with daily classroom duties and lesson delivery
• Working 1:1 or with small groups of pupils, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
• Supporting pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
• Helping maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Building professional, nurturing relationships with pupils, staff, and families

We're looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with children (in education, care, mentoring, or similar)
• Understands the needs of primary-aged pupils, particularly those with additional learning needs
• Is patient, caring, and adaptable with a warm and approachable attitude
• Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a team
• May have a background in health & social care, psychology, youth work, sports coaching, or SEN support

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
