Position Overview: Teaching Personnel is currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Foundation Stage Teaching Assistant (EYFS TA) to join a dynamic team in the NG6 area. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of young learners in a supportive and enriching educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with EYFS teachers to plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons that cater to the individual needs and interests of children aged 3-5 years.
- Support children's learning and development through a range of activities, including play-based learning, sensory exploration, and structured exercises.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, promoting a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere within the classroom and school community.
- Assist with classroom management and behavior management strategies, ensuring a safe and respectful learning environment for all students.
- Provide feedback to teachers on children's progress and development, identifying areas for improvement and offering suggestions for further support or intervention when necessary.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with young children in an educational setting, preferably within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in childcare, early childhood education, or teaching assistance (e.g., CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and connect with children, parents, and colleagues effectively.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work collaboratively as part of a team and respond to the changing needs of the classroom.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
