Are you an experienced HLTA looking to make a real impact in a dynamic primary school environment? Teaching Personnel is proud to partner with a welcoming and inclusive school in Salford, seeking a confident and skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join their team after February half term.

About the Role

As a HLTA, you’ll play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. Working closely with teachers and senior leaders, you’ll deliver engaging lessons, lead interventions, and help create a positive, inclusive classroom experience for all pupils.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead whole-class teaching in the teacher’s absence
• Deliver small group interventions and targeted support
• Assist with lesson planning, assessments, and classroom organisation
• Support pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
• Promote an inclusive, encouraging learning environment
• Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families

What We’re Looking For

• HLTA qualification or equivalent experience in a primary setting
• Confidence in leading learning across the primary age range
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills
• Experience supporting pupils with diverse needs, including SEN
• Flexible, proactive, and collaborative approach
• Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
