Start Date: April 2024

Role: Full-Time or Part-Time

Pay: £75- £95 per day depending on experience

An ‘outstanding’ school is looking for a proactive and energetic special educational needs teaching assistant who can support children with additional sensory, and physical impairments. This school are looking for a caring and nurturing support staff to help create a safe, friendly environment.

We are open to candidates with qualifications in:

  • Psychology
  • Youth/community work experience
  • Care assisting work
  • Mentoring

SEN Teaching assistant requirements are:

  • Support pupils 1:1 or in small groups
  • May have experience working with children with special educational needs or supporting vulnerable people
  • Have excellent knowledge of safeguarding policies
  • Apply behaviour policies effectively
  • Have a DBS on the update syst

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
