Primary Teaching Assistant – Monmouth (September 2025 Start)
Location: Monmouth, Monmouthshire
Pay: £89.38 - £95.00 per day
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-time (Monday to Friday, Term Time Only)

Teaching Personnel is working closely with a welcoming primary school in Monmouth to recruit a reliable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant for a full-time role starting in September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to support pupils across Foundation Phase and Key Stage 2, making a real impact on their learning and development.
✅ Key Responsibilities:

Support pupils during lessons across various subjects, especially literacy and numeracy
-
Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions tailored to pupils’ needs
-
Assist pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) including ADHD, ASD, and speech and language delays
-
Help manage classroom behaviour and encourage positive engagement
-
Prepare learning materials, displays, and assist with daily classroom routines
About You:
-
Experience working with children (school, childcare, youth work or similar)
-
A calm, patient, and proactive approach to supporting learning
-
Confident working independently and as part of a team
-
A relevant TA qualification (e.g., Level 2/3) is helpful but not essential
-
You must have (or be willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
