Teaching Personnel is working closely with a welcoming primary school in Monmouth to recruit a reliable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant for a full-time role starting in September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to support pupils across Foundation Phase and Key Stage 2, making a real impact on their learning and development.

✅ Key Responsibilities:

• Support pupils during lessons across various subjects, especially literacy and numeracy

• Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions tailored to pupils’ needs

• Assist pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) including ADHD, ASD, and speech and language delays

• Help manage classroom behaviour and encourage positive engagement

• Prepare learning materials, displays, and assist with daily classroom routines

About You:

• Experience working with children (school, childcare, youth work or similar)

• A calm, patient, and proactive approach to supporting learning

• Confident working independently and as part of a team

• A relevant TA qualification (e.g., Level 2/3) is helpful but not essential

• You must have (or be willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
