Primary Classroom Assistant – NP26 Area (September 2025 Start)
Location: NP26 – Caldicot and surrounding areas
Daily Rate: £89.38 - £95.00
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-time | Monday to Friday | Term Time Only

A friendly and inclusive primary school in the NP26 area is searching for a committed Classroom Assistant to join their team from September 2025. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping children learn, grow, and thrive in a supportive environment.
Your Role Will Involve:
- Offering support to individual pupils and small groups to reinforce class learning
- Working closely with the class teacher to deliver tailored activities
- Assisting with phonics, reading groups, and numeracy-based sessions
- Helping pupils with additional needs to access the curriculum
- Promoting a positive, inclusive classroom environment and encouraging pupil participation
♀️ What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with children, ideally in an educational or care-based role
- A patient, adaptable, and enthusiastic personality
- A genuine interest in child development and education
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- An Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service, or willingness to apply
A teaching assistant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3) is helpful but not essential for this role.
