Primary Teaching Assistant – Abergavenny (September 2025 Start)
Location: Abergavenny, Monmouthshire
Salary: £89.38 - £95.00 per day
Contract Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday (term time only)
Start Date: September 2025

Teaching Personnel is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Abergavenny for the new academic year starting in September 2025.
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide classroom support to pupils across the primary age range
- Deliver targeted 1:1 and small group interventions in literacy and numeracy
- Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Support pupils with additional learning needs (ALN) when required
- Assist with general classroom duties including setting up resources and displays
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience working with children in a school or similar setting
- A proactive, patient, and caring attitude
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
- A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 TA) is beneficial but not essential
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
