Full-Time Teaching Assistant – Year 5
Primary School – Melton
We are currently seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant to support a Year 5 class at a welcoming primary school in Melton. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable, proactive TA who enjoys working with Key Stage 2 pupils and can commit to a full-time role.
The Role:

Full-time position, Monday to Friday
-
Supporting pupils within a Year 5 classroom
-
Working alongside the class teacher to support learning, behaviour, and engagement
-
Providing targeted support to individuals and small groups as required
-
Contributing positively to the wider school environment
The Ideal Candidate Will:
-
Have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant (KS2 experience desirable)
-
Be confident supporting learning at Year 5 level
-
Be patient, adaptable, and nurturing, with a positive approach to behaviour support
-
Be able to travel/drive, as reliability and punctuality are essential
-
Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 TA qualification (desirable but not essential)
-
Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
