Teaching Assistant

A friendly Primary School in Lytham (FY8) are looking for a confident Higher Learning Teaching Assistant to work across the school in Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. The role will include taking responsibility for short term cover for whole classes and supervision of pupils in the absence of the teacher.

The hours will be Monday-Friday 8:00am-3:30pm, term time only.

Key Responsibilities:

-          Supporting year 4 children and responding appropriately to their needs

-          Simplify tasks to ensure accessibility

-          Working alongside the class teacher to deliver interventions such as times tables

-          Support the children during lunch time
