Teaching Personnel are urgently seeking talented Primary Teaching Assistants, to provide support for pupils across EYFS, Key Stage 1 & Key Stage 2 in the Lincoln area.

 

The Ideal Candidate

 

Due to an increase in demand, the ideal candidate will need experience across all key stages and be willing to continue supporting children of varied ages, dependent upon the demand at the time – a resilient, positive & patient attitude is essential!

 

About The Role Itself

As there is a demand for Teaching Assistants in all key stages, most days will be different depending on the placement. The majority of the work will be pre-booked, but you may be required to be on standby for some morning bookings between 7am and 9am.

Roles can include, but are not limited to, General Classroom Support or Group Intervention.

 

Candidate Duties

  • Will hold a UK recognised Teaching Assistant Qualification
  • Ideally have experience across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and 2
  • Deliver tailored teaching activities to pupils on either a one-to-one basis or in small groups
  • Support the Social & Emotional development of pupils, reporting any issues when required
  • Support the teacher in managing challenging pupil behaviour & promote positive behaviour
  • Listen to pupils read & read to pupils as a class, group or one-to-one
  • Help with the planning of some lessons
  • Carry out administrative duties, such as preparing classroom resources

 

Salary & Working Hours

The rate of pay will depend on experience, but Teaching Personnel can guarantee a price match against any other agency – ensuring your trust in us representing you, stays at an all-time high!

 

Full time hours (Minimum 8.30am – 3.30pm)

Extra hours may be required for staff meetings, inspections and parent consultations.
